Dr Singh has worked as a consultant at Children's Hospital Westmead, Sydney and Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. She has experience in caring for children with a wide range of gastroenterological conditions including liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, allergic gut disorders, coeliac disease, eosinophilic oesophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease and functional gut disorders.

She undertook a senior clinical fellowship with a focus on liver disease, transplantation (liver and intestine) and nutrition and worked as a consultant hepatologist at Birmingham Children's Hospital in the United Kingdom.
Accreditation
Dr Singh is accredited to perform paediatric gastroscopy and colonoscopy by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastroenterological Endoscopy.
